Pre-order Red Challenger faster than Black one.

The stats of both of the different Challengers are exactly the same other than Speed. The pre-order High Performance Red has a speed of 31.9, whereas the Black one(which in my opinion looks much better) that you actually have to earn by doing pursuits only has a speed of 31.4. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I know because it's pre-ordered not everyone will have it, but is that any reason to make it better than something that players had to go out and earn? Having to get gold on all the time trials is tough when you're moving faster than the map can finish loading so you have to avoid invisible obstacles, stop in the middle of the trial and fail it just to clear out a random event that spawned in the way of the time trials. When I was in San Francisco I had to stop and clear an area out so the trucks and enemies would go away, only to start the time trial again and have a different group of enemies and vehicles spawn in the same spot.
What I'm saying here is... It's some real work to get the Dodge Challenger RT Black. Why isn't this one High Performance? After doing all these trials, I'm pretty sure you're character knows something about being high performance.

Did you have the red vehicle equipped?

I've heard that the system doesn't calculate skill bonus in with the item being compared to.

One of the selling features for the pre-order was 'fastest' vehicle currently in the game. While I'm sure some DLC with faster will come out, a lot of pre-orders would be pretty pissed if they found out that the fastest car they were offered wasn't. So that would likely be the #1 reason the black one is slightly slower.

If this is true then I am going to cry. I didn't get the preorder car. So why have players who did challenges have a reward that is slightly worse than one I could have had at the start of the game? This is a outrage! Nah, it's probably just the added stat from your roller lv.

I've never really been in favor of unique exclusive preorder things like this in the first place. I'd agree that there should always be something in a game like this that's both better than AND harder to get, just to make earning something via merit count for something in the long run.

But by the same token the difference between "31.9" and "31.4" is probably all but unnoticeable while playing the game unless you managed to line up two of these cars and drove them side-by-side in a straight line for a few miles. The fact that the preorder car is technically faster on paper is mostly just a talking point to make the preorder people feel uber despite the fact they didn't really "earn" it.

There are straight lines in this game?

Precisely my point. This difference between the speed of these two cars is practically insignificant.

Latency differences would throw it off anyway.

Also, I used to recruit for the Anarcho-Syndicalist Revolutionary Union <ASRU Ark Hunters> (on 360 NA), but no one was interested, and I don't know if I'll ever bother playing again.
