I also got nothing after buying a tier 4 lockbox, but I bought it with keycodes. I put in a ticket, but haven't heard anything back.

I bought a tier 4 lock box with some bits and received 4 random weapons. If you didn't receive your items you can report this bug via feedback in the settings section.

Vehicles can be bought from vehicle vendors, or unlocked through progression. There is a vendor in sausalito and iron demon ranch. Just look on your map for it.

My current amount of inventory slots is 47. You unlock more by getting a higher ego rating.

Check in the claim items in the defiance store in game, you may have had a full inventory when you bought it

There seems to be a misconception about the lockboxes that a higher tier will give better things. In alpha this was the case, but now tier 2,3,4 translates to 2 weapons of uncommon or better rarity, 3 weapons or 4 weapons. Based on the amount of keys needed to open the various boxes of tiers 2 = 8, 3 = 24 and 4 = 64. Mathematically speaking, you can get 8 tier 2 boxes adding up to 16 possible weapons are varying rarities compared to tier 4 which gives 4 weapons of varying rarities.

There is no evidence that a higher tier lockbox gives anything better than a lower tier lockbox except the amount of said weapons. This is pretty simple common sense. If I can buy 1 bag of apples for 4 cents, 2 bags of apples for 12 cents, 3 apples for 24 cents or 4 apples for 64 cents. Its pretty obvious that you will buy the 1 bag as many times as possible.

I have personally gotten everything from green to orange weapons out of tier 2 lockboxes. No dev or mod or community person has ever stated there is any benefit to getting a tier 4 lockbox over a tier 2 lockbox. With the cost of keycodes, its simply a waste of money.
