Giving Choices: free of charge

When we read defiance threads we get allot of things. Complaints, wishes, bugs, and stories about that 'guy'.
This thread is about giving you (the awesome player) more choices.

So here's what I want regarding customization.
- more customization equipment
- Plastic surgeon
- Killable npc civilians
- Good and evil aspect
- Melee weapons with block
- Shoulder camera change

- relationships

i'll go with all, except relationships, i'm not playing to fake a relationship with another guy who is pretending to be a girl to get more perks in-game.

I would be happy with more customization choices...currently there are more ways to customize your XBLA avatar's face...

Ok I see where relationships could be wrong, I was thinking too much about mass effect there. Forgot most characters are real people...eww.

- More npcs that act like civilians that we can toy with and kill.

No on the melee weapons please. They ruined fallen earth and don't have a place in a shooter. And before you point out that the mutants have them, I have yet to see one take out a hellbug warrior

But we can already melee. The melee weapon could have a simple shield that doesnt get too op. not to mention, for pvp, if I'm using a melee and you have a gun i have to close the gap somehow.

Problem is, people expect it to be comparable to a gun... In fallen earth, a sword does more damage than a shotgun because people expect it to be viable. I mean, if I wanted to play a game where swords magically outperform guns, I'd play something from Japan

Um, IRL swords DO outperform many guns. The biggest problem is getting close enough to someone to hit them with the Sword. Also my shots might do less damage than a sword, but I can stand off 10's of yards(Meters) away and kill someone. Range and ease of training is what make guns such a good weapon overall.
