I play bf3 too and all kinds of fps games and i was in top 10 in finland in Cs and i still don't see your idea or opting in working as intented on any level. Only way i can see that "opt in" openworld pvp work is in completely different openworld area where you can kill other players and that would ofc need a random spawnpoint due everyone camping so yep not any time soon atleast.Originally Posted by SeeknDestroy
Don't know about anyone else but there are days when I feel like tearing it up in PvP and then there are other days where I'd prefer to PvE/RP wth friends. It would seem that Defiance offers the choice and, imo, that's nothing but a good thing. As with all games the initial player base is generally huge until players (PvP and even PvE) move on to other games, but I can see this game being one with a decent community for quite a while after others have moved on.

Well this game look to be more make for instant Cash money than a game made to stay in the buisness.
What if i want to be an evil player and kill everyone ?
What if i want to be a good player and kill the Bad Evil player ?
Make Disputable AREA FOR GUILD Or FAction what ever. Make people have a goal in this game, like why should i go pvp ? and why should i go pve ? make people want to revenge Their Guild mate, Friend ETc..
some special area for a certain Ego lvl, with constant open pvp with reward when u kill a player who made you a good player if you kill a bad or a bad player if u kill innocent ?
Make a kill count of Good And Bad DUDE.
