Console Beta realease date

WELL 90% of betas these days arent REAL beta if they were REAL betas then youre right 1-2 weeks wouldnt be enough time to fix things but 90% of open betas these days are just stress tests to see how much ppl the servers can handle at once and fix THAT which CAN be done in 1-2 weeks... the REAL beta testing is done during the alpha testing which is on going and does/will fix actual bugs and whatnot

True, developers have QA testers to find fault with the game.

Two sites mentioning that date.. lol. seems likely that it is, unless it was the original plan and it changed (or they aren't sure if they will quite make the date)

So... 16 days before the game launches. 16 days to go through all the bug claims, compile the list and fix them in-game and hope it is big enough to justify a title update, then wait for it to go through certification. That is why you don't wait until the last second to do a beta. But whatever. I'll be getting this dem- errr I mean, beta.

Does it really matter that much? Most games don't even have a beta or anything similar. If there were to be no beta, the bugs would be still there. Now they are probably found faster and can be dealt with faster after release.

Everyone is entitle to their wonderful views on how beta goes bud its not really worth the questioning.

But for Reapers FYI
Beta test is pretty much the final testing state before release so the amount of bugs found is usually very limited and 9times out of 10 are only minior fixes. Becuase consoles are more difficult to patch (Paticulaly xbox due to 10grand cost of cert fees) minor bugs are generally stock piled in to a patch worth rolling. (For example during a DLC roll out, like what BF3 devs do)

The day release patch will have passed cert, but I very much doubt other patches in the future are allowed to bypass cert, only changes that can be made from the server side bypass cert.

Anyway iiReLaX, in short don't let him get to you lol, He's obviously a very knowledgeable individual using his intellect for good on a forum.

Don't worry, you'll get one soon. We console gamers have only had to wait nearly three months....

Trion is doing a great job showing they value two markets, what an impressive business model!! We console gamers are sure feeling the love!

Now, they just need to get 'we are the first tps mmo in console history' into advertisements & the minds of console gamers. But I'm sure their marketing team is full of highly competent people well aware they only need to get one phrase out to the masses in order to sell millions of copies.

just so you know they dont have to pass certification to patch this game because almost all the patchs will be server side and they dont go on psn or xbox live they go on trions servers they have already said this many times just giving people the heads up if they worried about passing certification because they are not going to have to
