In most ways it is inferior to a VOT Tachmag Pulser, just with slightly less crappy range.

But, even if it were good, there is no way I could forgive myself for running with that inexplicable yellow monstrosity in my hands. Thing is far too ugly to use. I hope I never find a good one.

I mean, look at how cool the VOT Disruptor or Pulser looks, and then look at the Blast Rifle. Yech.

One shot actually fires six or so pellets from one round so it should read 40 times 6... These guns are beast and trigger nano effects due to the pellet like projections as if it were a shot gun

The rate of fire, combined to an elemental effect ( as it should process really fast). Even with this, even fully loaded ( in ammo ) it's kinda useless ( tried it once during an arkfall with lots of people, had to run to the ammo box too many times, as I never dropped enough ammo to keep on shooting xD )

as people have said before, not every weapon is perfect for every situation.

arkfall is not the way to go for a high ammo consuming weapon like that.

Its not that great for focusing stronger targets (elites, bosses, etc) unless youre running one with increased nano-effect mods and a nano effect increase perk setup. But they are always useful for taking down multiple weaker targets like skitterlings, drones, etc when they are grouped up. Its kind of like a mini LMG.

Okay, so basically it does 240 damage total?
