Hands Up if Australian and playing Defiance on PC

Was just wondering if there are many Australians hanging around this forum and in game, I know we live in a country where I just realised last night on way home when I passed a EB store, this game has had no promotion in our country. As far as I know?

Anyway, I could of used some company last night , woe to the chat being currently broken... Nobody seemed to notice my lone plea into the chat window... Was having trouble with completing side mission "Maintaining the Line", thing kept on resetting on my death, and I'd be ported to location 500-600m away on map. Is that supposed to happen? Ended up giving up on that one.

Oh, and when there are other people around doing same mission as well, which is really nice, I like company, I'd like to know how can you give them something like a quick salute, or wave hello, yay we did it, and thanks for the assist?

There's at least two of us... or three counting you. A mate and I got our hands on the game and have been playing it nearly daily; outside of work hours.

We've progressed pretty far, and have completed the first season of main quests. But will be happy to give you a hand if you needed it. Working in a team is always better than alone... more enemies, more loot, more exp, more assistance in reviving.

/wave.. the way i found out that this game was coming out was my mate pm me on Skype saying " are you gonna try out Defiance " and i said maybe lol. i had a look and saw its a tv show + game that got me kinda hooked now i'm ego 490 on last mission and it buged out on me that's the only real game breaking problem. other than that its kinda fun game

Yeah im always about late night after work and sometimes in the day..
Sad we don't have our own server so we cant play PVP or the Shadow Wars stuff, but the rest of its pretty enjoyable anyway.

Hey guys, I bought the game delux verison and season pass. But my download is so slow...im downloading like 0.74kb per sec, when I just downloaded Metro 2033 7GB game in under 30mins...wtf? why is it loading so slow? and what do I do..i want to play this game so BAD!! and im from AUTSRALIA TOO!! BRISBANE!!!

Unfortunately that's something we have to deal with because its coming from California on a terrible client, just leave it downloading for say.. A day or two, that's what I did.

Also, if it slows down more, to 0.03 for example, DO NOT close the downloader, open another one, wait for that one to load all of what the other has already done, THEN close the other. If it does not load what the first has already downloaded and you close it, you will LOSE ALL OF YOUR PROGRESS.

AND, if you have a blackout or a hiccup with your router, you will lose everything and there is nothing you can do but start again, enjoy the beauty of developers ignoring not just countries but entire regions of the world!
