That’s odd considering I saw a guy using a blue grl with a t3 mag in FY. He went 18-3 at ego 2100. So I ask again where’s the skill? If it’s weapon based then does the same still apply to green/blue/purp tiered weapons?

That's a anomaly for sure lol unless it was during the buffed grl time period
    Not easy. Just simple.

if you really went all the way in that idea then rolling and jumping would also have a 1sec cooldown, speed would be more reduced when the gun is pointing and takes some time to get back to get back to aimlesss vision that allows better speed.

Reasons : stopping the numerous people who love to backshoot people and when failing : keep rolling, running far away to avoid conflict and try again backstabing people

then again some weapons if bring back to base stat (no roll, no mastery, no syn) should get a complete rework (exemple : snoogie -> really high precise shooting that is worthless in its base form : 2 small pellets on a large aim area with low reload -> even at one meter you could miss due to RNG ((and let's face it : RNG is not good in Defiance)) )

Nice idea but too much coding : easier way : make regular Echelon weapon that you can select only during pvp game (no other weapon allowed) and then maybe for more "customization" allow also Echelon Shields and Echelon rigs that all can choose from 3-4 different types

It doesn't require much coding at all. Just disable mod, mastery and weapon roll bonuses.

seeing as some backpack syn doesn't work properly just when switching in and out pvp, instead of asking to remove rolls/masteries/syn in pvp, you migh just as well ask to remove them for pve too.

The other good stuff about an echelon pvp inventory, besides separate coding less prone to bugs, is that everyone gets to choose from the same content.
