I preordered mine from gamestop online on February 20 and received my preorder code on February 25 in a email with instructions on how to apply to my trion world account. Once entered to showed I was in for x360 beta

i prepaid for 3 copies of the ultimate edition through gamestop! first time i went in i didnt get a code so i went in next day explained the situation and the lady there was kind enough too print me off a code. other 2 times i had the code on the receipt already so no need to go back!

your pre-order key might only be given to you on April 2 when you go get the game

Anyone who believes anything Gamestop states, be it on the website or from an employee, is the sort of person that would happily buy a bridge over the Sahara thinking they got a bargain.

i would trust lance over gamestop too . but for people who are not in beta yet , i do agree it important for them to get their pre order key asap so they can try it . but people like me and you who are already in the beta should just wait for April 2 and get our key then .

I preorded the Ultimate Edition at Gamestop in San Francisco. Got my preorder key on the reciept. Redeeemed it on the Defiance website. Everything seems ok for me. Its the Xbox 360 version. It was on 2/28/2013. Yay!

I put $25 down first and then fully paid it off 2 weeks later. I never checked the first receipt.

the first receipt had your code bc i got the regular version from gamestop and paid it off and got the code on the receipt and than upgrade to the collectors edition but the code was not on the second receipt so u need to find your first one =]
