Thread: So, um...

    So, um...

...is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble staying interested in other games when all you really want to do is go Ark Hunting?

For the past few months I've been powering through a majority of my backlog so that when Defiance releases, I can focus most of my gaming attention exclusively on it. But the closer it gets to April 2nd, the more bland everything else seems.

I'm in the middle of Alice the Madness Returns and Realms of Ancient War, and even though I like both of them in theory, I'm BORED while playing them. Finishing them is like a chore.

What are you guys playing during the long, hard wait?

The only game that is doing it for me right now is Guardians of Middle Earth, but the lag, disconnects and long wait times put a damper on that. BF3 Endgame looks pretty sweet with capture the flag and motorbikes, but that's not out on XBox until the 26th. Halo 4 lost its shine after about a month. I'm finished with Borderlands 2 until the next DLC arrives.

It's all (defiance) I can think about (defiance) when I'm playing (defiance) anything else(defiance).

Don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED to be this excited about a game, but that doesn't make the wait any less painful!

I just started reading Game of Thrones after finishing season 2 of the show. That's helping a lot.

Same here. I started a new file on Skyrim and got bored about two hours in. Played BF3 for a couple games and lost interest. Halo has lost it's appeal all together. Played some Dead Space but i just can't stayed entertained with anything. I come on the forum and the anticipation just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It's gunna be a LONG month. I'm sure a lot of people are in the same boat though. Just been on netflix trying to kill time

i hate that feeling every time when a new game i really want, come out >_<

recently i have been playing mass effect 3 to get back into 3rd person shooting but the more we get closer to the release the less i want a play it . and when friend want a play BF3, all i do is mess around . cant even play seriously anymore xD ... the worst i think gonna be the beta weekend . i will play it and after that until release i will probably not play anything until the 2 April
