I haven't seen anyone say that the game is bad because its not WoW.

Yes it does. Level your weapon skills. Your skills progress. Add mods + your weapon skills = Weapons much better. Gain EGO through pursuits, quests, etc...get more Perks. Level those perks. Choose your Perks loadouts.

Saying this game has any kind of "real" progression is just lying. A few perks are so minuscule in comparison to playtime its funny. My ARs are already close to max. Mods are available at every level.

You're just blindly defending the game in spite of the fact that there are issues that are going to lead to it dying a very fast death. I didn't say I don't like the game; I said it has problems. The fact that you defend its flaws as uniqueness just makes arguing pointless.

Mark my words when I say that it will be dead in a few months without any incentive to level.

I see 17 pages of people arguing as to the genre of the game, which I'm not going to read through.


Let me know when you start to get bored at 1k+ EGO with no real reward to continue trying to do much. The game will die quickly unless Trion does something to keep interest.

My opinion is that you're an idiot for being so narrowminded in your thought process that you fail to recognize that this game does have issues that need to be addressed. You're too caught up in "copying" other games (which is totally necessary when viewing most successful games in the genre, to some extent) to want to fix any of the underlying issues or implement any potential improvements because you have a death grip on your 'unique' game that you feel somehow gives some sense of elitism over players of mainstream MMOs such as WoW.
