Developers clears state you can see pvp(shadow war battles) when you are doing co-op missions. On the map legend its shows a symbol for what a shadow war would look like but i have never seen one. (im not talking about matchmaking) So what happened? Did they cancel the ability for a shadow war to begin like a arkfall?
I've been wondering the exact same thing. I've yet to see a Shadow War going on while doing missions. I've seen regular players running around while I was in a Shadow War, but not the other way around.

I thought Shadow Wars were instanced or phased PvP.
shadow wars go on all the time. problem most just Q for pvp matches since they are faster. shadow wars needs 32 players Qed at least before starting. shadow wars happen in the pve world so you can watch the action if ur close.

I've them show up on the map once. That said, I've participated in plenty and I always see players not involved in the match running around. Its probably just a bug that they're not showing up on the map
I knew Shadow Wars took place in PVE, yet I've never seen one take place even though I've participated in a few. Just odd that I haven't witnessed one yet. I would love to see more of them in action while I'm running around. That would definitely make things a bit more interesting.
