I just noticed the outfit from the trailer is up and it looks gorgeous. Looks like I got some new threads to run around in!

Need longer duration for these boosts and a 50% reduction in cost. 160 bits for 24 hours is severly over priced and way to short. Also request longer duration ones, even a perma one: tell me how much man!

Also, no need to change the percentage of the boosts since that would make them mandatory. Then again, some are mandatory like the loot boost which is a light switch; without it, you get next to no drops...with it activated mobs drop like mad. It is not 10% as it shows, more like 100% increase in loots which include all drops: items, resources, ammo, and scrip.

As to outfits, 880 bits (around 12 bucks) per is too expensive for a cosmetic item.

    my advice:
implement Account storage & Clan Storage, then charge for...
    • Account storage upgrade
    • Clan Storage upgrade
    ...similar to inventory upgrade.

Cosplay stuff would also be nice, though awkward: Ark hunters with guns running around in...
    • Student uniform
    • Doctor/Nurse uniform
    • Police uniform
    • construction worker uniform
    • business uniform
    ...etc.

& NO POKE-BALLS PLEASE IN PVE

    It's definitely broken.

According to the store, it's supposed to increase the rarity of your drops. In reality, it decreases the rarity severely, and boosts the drop rate by quite a bit, but is skewed towards shields and grenades.

Once it wears off, the drop rate decreases, but the rarity is normalized again (meaning you will see blues and greens more often than you did with the boost active) and the tables balance back out so that you actually see weapons in the mix instead of an inventory full of white vendor trash.

This was something that was pointed out in testing but made it to the live servers. People that are paying for those boosts should be making it clear to Trion that it needs to be corrected sooner rather than later.

The store is already ridiculously overpriced on most things. Charging people for a bugged loot boost that actually decreases their chances at drops when it claims to increase them is exceptionally bad form.

As for the pets thing, I don't really care about a minigame, but I would pay a (relatively) GREAT DEAL of money if I could "adopt" a stray dog.

Boost dropped yesterday and same mobs I used to get tons of whites and occasionally greens now drop next to nothing, not even ammo. Doin this mission with loot boosts, I never once had to hump an ammo box. Now with it off I have to go to a box every so often since mobs drop absolutely nothing most of the time. ie. I killed 500+ mobs last night with no boost and got 32 white items. Previous evening with boost I killed similar amount and got 100+ items.

This boost is broken like you said and is essentially a loot light switch. This is probably intended but I do ask they change that 10% increase info text to 100% + tell player that it effects ALL drops including the rate, not just rarity just to be clear and not sneaky imo. I have seen this before in many many f2p Korean MMOs and now it shows up in Defiance. Yay?
