Too bad nobody can admit that and say is easy, super easy etc...so devs won't take in count the real problem is than the fight is more frustrating that fun .
seriously, for the first 2 minutes of phase 1 i was just using one hand to play while i used my other hand to pull up some sweet boss fight music.
i did have to quick use 2 hands for his dashy attacks, but that was it.
for the rest of the fight i just sprinted around and waited for him to slow down so i could shoot him.
2nd phase i just ran around the obstacles while BMG-ing the copies
when all those copies appeared on the walls i ran around with my BMG ready to heal
phase 3 i just kept sprinting when he did that thing he does signaling he'll do a ground pound so i could get away from him and dodge the attack easily. for his spinny fire ball launch i would try to get behind a pillar, if not then i'd just heal myself. the stage explodey attack can't be dodged, as far as i know anyhow, so again i just healed myself.
seriously, the only time i "died" was when i got too close to my grenade. then i just revived myself.

I dunno man. Didn't seem hard to me. He telegraphs all of his big windup attacks so they are easy to dodge, and even if you do get hit you can just run around/take cover until you are regen'd.
I was actually disappointed. I was reading all of this hype about how hard he was and was looking forward to the challenge. He gave me no issues. I didn't even change my loadout to fight him. All I used was a Fragger pump shotty and nades. Didn't even need to pull out my secondary.
I got more challenge out of most of the Dark Matter side missions then Nim, mostly due to the crazy amount of enemies some of them throw at you.
I don't think I'm that amazing at shooters. Above average maybe, but nothing more.
I found the fight quite easy. I just rolled away from all attacks and shot him in the head with the combat shotgun that shoots a single slug, that stuns him for a long time. At stage 2 and 3 I simply took cover often.
I used the shotgun with the fan spread and fire ability and an assault rifle with a scope for when he was above me but most the time I was using the shotgun and catching him on fireI only died once on the final fight cause I missed a roll but it seemed pretty simple.
I died more times getting through the dungeon to reach Nim then I did fighting against him.
My biggest problem with Nim is that each phase has too much health so it felt tedious instead of truly challenging.
His most damaging attacks are avoidable once you know the patterns.
The clone phase was a bit tough, but mainly because more than one can attack at once making dodging harder. The shotgun really helped me out the most in the clone phase.
I could see this mission as being hard if I didn't have a BMG, because I know I wouldn't have survived without it.
well, i was getting better in the second fight , he had half health bar and again the server kicked me out . I am not going to repeat the same mission from start again so i give up . Trion you made a great game but ruined it at the end for me for this reasons :
Final boss EXAGGERATEDLY HARD and FRUSTRATING and server disconnects. I was find with servers disconnect until i reach this part in the game. Not in the mood of repeat it again. I congratz the gamers that beat Nim blindfolded and found him so easy...i couldn't.![]()
Everyone here is just stretching their e-peens. This fight is very challenging. My first attempt at him took me about an hour and a half give or take before I called it a night. I went back to leveling for two days and got a lot of defensive perks; also worked on my combat shotgun rating. The next time I fought him I was able to defeat him without dying once; but that's not to say it wasn't hard, I had two days to think about it and prepare knowing what I was going in to. The first two phases I used a semi-automatic ar with three round bursts, and in the final phase I used a combat shotgun.
Defeated Nim the 1st try in about 15/20 minutes with a purple shotty no mods and cloak, ego 546 running perks for regeneration & survival. He's not that hard at all. Cloak was very usefull as well as I was running a sheild with a 9.6 second recharge and teamed cloak for faster recharge in a crunch. Cloak is awesome, I can see players going at him with glass cannon overcharge builds having a difficult time but Cloaked owned Nim for me.
