so im doing a pursuit and i have to get the infectors to lvl 10, LEVEL ****ing 10, now i played this game pretty much non stop since its release and my assault rifle is only 6 and smg only 5. nobody else thinks that trying to get the infectors to lvl 10 is a bit too high an is actually going to make me get soooooooooo bored. nobody seems to know how the weapons actually lvl up, is it based on use or kills or ust xp earned while using the weapon. also what is the deal with the weapon levels not going up if the gun has leveled up. who ever thought of that needs to jump from a cliff and hopefully land on the person who decided to get the weapon to lvl 10.

Under the modifications area, there is a bar with a number. This bar will fill up and that number will eventually cap out. That bar is the experience you have earned with that weapon. That experience is also applied to your relevant weapon skill. The kicker is that when that bar fills, you stop gaining exp. So you have to use different weapons to continue to increase your skill.

yeh ive been playing the game a long time and have only just started swapping my assault rifles, its painful when u have a favourite but i think its good because it makes u constantly look for a new gun rather then just sticking with one the whole time.

with regards to grinding, playing games should be a hobby and something u find fun.

the only grinding i do is with my teeth after a big night out.

Yeah, it can be a bit annoying, but it makes logical sense. I mean, you wouldn't really consider yourself a "master" of a gun type if all you did was use one specific gun the entire time. Now if you used several guns, and learned all you could from each of them, that's a different story.

My guy would be the master of the EMC Service Rifle they sell at Top-Notch. lol. Buy it, use it, sell it, buy a "different" one. Still, my guy is wearing EMC Heavy Armor so it fits i guess.

yeh i started playing with pistols today, it was hard and i died a few times, but it was a challenge and fun, plus im in no rush to be a beast in this game, its an mmo i plan on playing for a long time so i enjoy trying everything out.

Ahh ty Idk if im going to like or hate this lol. Was hopeing to max every gun but i think i will stick to Ar's for now.
