Played, but not for me. Possible to transfer?

I bought a boxed Defiance DVD, and after playing a few days I've decided that this style of MMO is not for me. Does anyone know off-hand if the game is transferable?

Trion, I think you're a fantastic company with great people, and I enjoyed Rift immensely. But this one just isn't my style for an FPS.

Nope. One registered to your account, it's yours forever.

Depends on if it was a PC or Console version. PC license is tied to your account, however a console version can be sold or traded however any pre-order codes would be defunct.

I'm pretty sure console versions are bound to your Trion account and cannot be sold either as the disc on it's own is useless.

console version is returnable, and refundable (depends on how forgiving where you pre-ordered is*).

As for pc version if you bought through say steam ,or something else, and your given a Key code, you basically can only use that code once and it locks in for your trion made account.

AS for the ps3, and xbox 360 side, you can return the game, even if your console is binded, the disc is just install data, it still requires a TRION user name (PSN account/XBL account) to sync with,

ex: i returned my 360 pre-order after playing for a short while, and it was accepted when i returned the game*

    Edit:

Forgot to mention the pre-order codes/anything you bind to your console will not be of course re-useable or refundable. So only the disc alone is returnable, thats really it. (When you login via console) it will generate a id for you to link your profile to the trion account you have (where you can further more claim codes, etc...). If not you just miss out on redeeming things
