Did you bother trying it? It does damage like any other weapon. But the number in the display is bugged.

Yes I did bother trying it but its kind of annoying because I dont know how MUCH damage that it does -.-
Try using it with damage numbers on. But, I'd assume unless you don't get any damage, its a bug with the display data. I had an AR that did 444x8 damage, but once I used it, it did normal AR damage for its type.

I, apparently, after getting the gun when I was edited my settings (putting game into window mode so I could post here) hit reset and didnt realize it because I normally have the numbers on but it reverted back to off.
Seems to be doing 800-ish minimum and max Ive seen is about 1700ish area so that helps out a bit.
I have the same and its one of the best weapons around
full damage radius mod + mag mod = own every big mob in the game
Been using 3 of them for a while. They are hitting around 1200-2100 with Deadly Cascade so My guess is around 1,000x3.
I can confirm that DPS is not counted using these weapons during Arkfalls and CO-OP missions. You will score 0 and be placed at rank 20 even with the most kills...
I can kill a monarch in 3 reloads with one of these 0x3 detonators. Insanely big hits, must be 1000 damage per explosive from the cluster.
Whats pissing me off (rather unrelated to this topic, meh) is my Mass Cannon does not gain xp nor does the rocket launcher skill.
Example...You know the last part of "Project Aegis, Part 1" with the hulker, monarch and other hellbugs? Welp, when the horde of skitterlings and warriors spawned down by the raiders, I used my mass cannon and literally blew 95% of the skitterlings up and the weaker raiders, damaging warriors and elites massively. No xp, nothing.
Pissing me off.
