Have you ever seen a Purple or Orange item drop?

Has anyone ever had a Purple or Orange item drop from an actual enemy?

Just curious, because I haven't ever seen one drop and I'm EGO Rating 1400+.

Only ever got them from Arkfalls and Lockboxes...

I got 2 purples and I'm EGO 950+. I use the one perk where you get a better chance for a drop and maxed it.

Orange..may not be possible.

It makes me wonder if buying the boost is even worth it..... My friend has a perk for better loot i think it was and i also had a 5% boost too for loot and we still never even had a purple or orange drop... wasted money tbh... it also sucks if you dont get purple or orange drops

Well, not even a purple drop at almost 1500 lol. In addition I should mention that i farm a lot, so it's even stranger.

I actually gave the paid for Loot Drop "bonus". For 24 hours I was watching enemies drop Shields and Grenades with the odd white weapon, utterly useless.

A clan member in my group received an orange shield when I killed a mob with a 3% drop boost.

i have had loads of purple drops, level 400+, my friend is level 200 and something and has 3 orange weapons, its just luck man, but it would be nice to know one thing.....i have seen a few orange items on the floor but when i pick them up they are just white crap weapons!?!?! any one else experienced this?

Short answer: No.

Though i can't be 100% sure... but i might have had a purple drop during one of the instances from the main quest line. (I said No above as i can't remember )

Other than that; the only two Orange weapons i've received have been from T4 lockboxes, various purples from Arkfalls & T3/T4 Lockboxes.

on a side note, i'm sticking to the Tier4 boxes from now on!
