the defiance show is only 12 episodes...the question is what happens to the game after the show ends??is there going to be more shows later in the year or not.???

12 episode run, fairly standard for SyFy channel shows. The game will go on and if the show does well they'll pick up another season for 2014.

Actually season 2 is already in the development, they started it last Jan/Feb.

I actually wondered who get the most out of this Syfy or Trion, sure Defiance game has brought tons of people to Syfy too.

I dunno, do you really think gamers didn't already watch Syfy? I would think that SyFy would have a greater impact on Trion than vice versa just due to a larger audience base.

Yeah this is them helping eachother. As long a the SyFy channel get on them to fix the game bugs and Trion stays on SyFy to keep a good and exciting show they will both do fine. It's a win/win as long as they both do their parts.

Aye, but they started to work on Season 2 quite fast, dont you think. They didnt even wait for premiere.

my theory is that once the 1st season ends the game will be the gap filler leading up to season 2 with more episode missions.

I thought I heard SyFy bought two seasons of Defiance from the start. So we should at least see two seasons.
