    weather effects

    how about putting in some rain or snow in some regions of the map.just to break up the day/night cycle.....

    slightly off topic but I thought that we would be able to see arks falling from sky but they just appear on map

    yeh ive thought about this, rain would be a nice feature, would just add a bit more atmosphere to the game

    if you have rain you have to have thunder and lightning.
    which would make an ark look amazing with night cycle as well.

    ark fall at night with rain would be cool

    It would be hard to implement this without changing the recommended specs for PC users. Buts its possible if they give the option to disable weather effects. I was already impressed by the day/night cycle in the game. The sunset is actually quite nice.

    That kind of stuff is extremely graphic intensive, meaning the Xbox would be struggling to keep up. Can you image doing a major arkfall with 50 players, monsters, and its snowing? You'd be getting maybe 5 frames per second, if your lucky. And the monsters would be disappearing and reappearing more often than they already are, which is annoying enough already.

    i agree with that one.standing on a hill or a mountain watching the sun go down.

    you mean like we already had the first few days.
