So these *forced* solo encounters where I cannot solo the boss is not simply frustrating, it almost feels like a punishment for learning how to be a good coop player.
Yes Ive read the hints and strategy guides, I know its me, I just do not react fast enough, its one of the joys of getting older. But each time I die I ask myself, isnt this a coop game? The Arc Hunter videos show a pair of guys working together, in every fight, especially in what looks boss fights. So why do these forced solo instances exist at all? Im am not suggesting removing the solo content, clearly quite a few people have the skills to get through them, but this is a week into the game, and I see a lot, a lot of threads about how hard, to impossible these forced solo boss enounters are. I am not alone here.
This is more than a game a skill, its a bussiness, and if Trion wants to make money from all gamers, especially people like me who are willing to buy bits and get the extra items, then I have a simple suggestion -- add a coop mode to these boss encounters. Keep the solo versions, give them a legendary weapon reward. It reinforces the leet nature of those who can solo it. Add a coop version with a matchmaker option to find others who cannot solo it, keep the purple epic reward for those people. That way we all get though the missions, we all move forward and we all keep paying.
Thanks for reading. peace now.
