... no, that sounds like a typical multi-phase boss fight

Indeed, going back to only the start of the phase sounds like an easy mode rpg with save points every 10 seconds.

the only part i found anoying and died on was phase 1 where he uses blur all the time, as he can't be damaged while he runs at you with blur engaged and he seems to be able to hit you when he rushes by your side upto 15 ft away with that charged rush.
i found that a heavy shotgun (at close range) + a good bmg (the stingray ect. to heal yourself) + cloak or the same setup except for overcharge insted of cloak for the extra damage during phase 1 and cloak for phases 2 and 3 ignore his clones you can hear him saying things while his clones say nothing target and hit him hard each time.

I rocked a pump shotty with the flat pellet trajectory the whole time. Cloak was my EGO power had perks, escape artist, dispersion, thick skin, fortitude, the health regen one. Phase one stick and move. Cloak if you get low. Reload and fill ammo while cloaked. Phase 2 opposite side of clone spawn, when they spawn fire towards choke point in middle of room when they try to advance hit Nim when you get the chance... LoS when you take hits. Phase 3 easiest, just go opposite side of pillar when Nim AoEs then pop out for a few shots, rinse and repeat. Beat him second attempt.

he's the last boss that concludes the story (for now.) kinda looks like villain from Star Trek, all cyborgy.

The OP makes an excellent suggestion at the end of his post (suggesting that solo boss encounters have a co-op option, with correspondingly less epic loot), and no one in the thread responded to this. Instead everyone is trying to tell him how to do the encounter successfully when he already clearly stated he just doesnt have the fps chops to do so.

Trion should be putting more emphasis on the grouped co-op aspect of the game and should take the OPs suggestion and make all story missions at least two player co-op and soloable. Great suggestion by the OP.
