Game will eventually be bug free, right?

I'm trying to convince some more friends to get the game, but they read online about all the issues the game has and it's not like they're wrong. Co-op missions kick you out early, receiving ammo while reloading causes you to lose the ammo for that reload instead, the salvage matrix eats weapons, having 2 ego powers set causes your loadouts to not save, maxed skills can reset back to level 1, and of course that's provided your game isn't too laggy to play in the first place.

I understand it's been a week, MMOs take time, blah, blah, blah. But it's been a week. Shouldn't something have been fixed by now?

There was a lot fixed, but the biggest patch comes around 15/16th because it will be on all platforms and needs clearing from all sides.

But eventually bug free? No game is bug free, there are always so rare bugs that it is near impossible to track their cause down.

    I hope not.

MMOs are only bug free when they're dead.

New content = new bugs. It's the cycle of life for MMOs.

Even Skyrim is not bug free and that's had patches since release and not as complex as an online game.

The bug with the perks that keeps me from having separate perk/ego loudouts is ruining the game for me right now. I mean, I'm having fun per-say, but I'm not jumping into the PVP side of the game until I can properly customize my perk loadouts.

Sure, no game will ever be perfect. But there's a BIG difference between 1 super rare glitch happening because someone jumped on just the wrong tree and fell through it, and not even being able to use half the functions in the game like co-op missions and the salvage matrix.

They've fixed a lot I think. I bought the game on Sunday, played it for two days straight now, and I have only witnessed one bug, no server crashes, and an iffy on whether my laggy internet connection (which surprises me on no server crashes) or another bug happened (most likely my laggy internet). But like the above comments say, they're releasing a huge patch. I expect any new released game/content would have solved all major bug problems within one month, give or take.

WoW suffered the stuck looting bug for a long long time, was rare and not that bothersome but any MMO will have bugs some long term, Game breaking bugs will be squished but nothing happens instantly and im not sure but the fact that we have consoles in play means patches need to be examined by them (Sony and MS) and im sure this slows it down another notch.

point is MMO's need some patience if you want to play them.

During beta many argued game is buggy because it's beta. Now it's released and it's still as buggy as beta.

I don't believe this game will be bug-free. I think few most notorious bugs will be fixed, others will stay for a long time + more will be added by imminent episode-related quests.

Right now I can't finish 2 co-op pursuits - game does not register events after like 20 runs.
