So this game SCREAMS cover system, i have no idea why its not in the game.
It does not to be super intricate, but even able to use boulders and doorways as cover (more then we can right now) would be a huge step in the right direction.
Anyone else agree ?
I think that it would be cool but not a major need at the moment.

There is already a cover system in place. All that is missing from it in my opinion is not being able to switch hands when aiming from the left side of cover.
No. It's not a cover shooter, it's a run (and dive) and gun game. Far faster paced than cover shooters. Besides, even adding basic functionality would be a massive amount of work.

Wouldint want a cover system, I can play gears for that.
Besides, there is too much random landscapes (random peices of metal, barrels, rocks) that are not flat, and a cover system would not work. Besides, I grow weary of stupid cover systems, ME3 and GOW1-4 have given me my fill and seem to take away from the openess of a world...

This game has a very good cover system. It's also pretty intuitive: you find one of the bazillion crates/cars/rocks/fences/etc in the game world and, well, take cover behind it. Works wonderfully.
