FRC Assault Carbine = Rarest Item Ingame?

So this gun, the "FRC Assault Carbine" is my favourite weapon in the game. I am almost EGO Rating 1500 now and in my entire time playing the game I have literally only found two of these, one was Green and one was Blue. I got the green one from a quest and I found the blue one at around EGO 500 and I havn't found another one since. So from drops, I've only ever found this weapon once in 1500 Levels.

I've even got like 10x "FRC Strong Assault Carbine" but it is just not the same, the Strong version is semi-automatic and tbh... just sucks imo.

I have found literally a tonne of other weapons, including a lot of other Assault Rifles, but this one just doesn't ever want to drop and is never in shops either. I've never heard of anyone selling a Purple or Orange one on the forums either, so is it just me or is this gun literally the rarest item ingame?

My favorite is FRC North Star Flare - the flare gun. I have only found two so far myself - one with +4 mag so it was actually usable and the other without so it was trash. Makes me sad

Im at about 400 EGO and have found 1, the other a friend gave me. But yes I have been waiting for a new one for quite some time, they do seem like tough drops

i am 1500 i have over 4 frc assault carbine in my inventory
not to mention i already maxed out couple more before

Darn. Kind of makes me sad now I didnt pick up the one I saw the other day now.

omg i love that gun, i found a green version of it, and it rips people apart, non stop 303-500 on non crits, 700-800 on crits and thats without overcharge, and not even modded, put on an extended mag, power bore, recoil, and you have one of the best weapons ever. also if you have not done so, do the side missions in San Fransisco, you get another gladiator from it, that to is just pure beast mode.

I have two of the five that I have that are maxed out. They too are my favorite gun. BTW what do you do with maxed guns just recycle them for parts or what?

Yeah, if you don't plan to use it anymore the best idea is to salvage it or if it has good mods in it salvage those instead.

I like both versions. I have an electric assault carbine as the backup weapon for my sniper build so I can go full auto if someone closes with me while cloak is recharging, and I have the strong version paired up with a shotgun for a general purpose combat build. The strong version is like a better semi-auto sniper rifle, IMHO. It does less damage, but it fires so fast with so little recoil that you can just churn out the crits when you're using the scope.

Yeah and the sniper rifle is great for picking off those pesky guys with rocket launchers.
