I'd like to use my SmartGlass app for this very situation. That is why Microsoft made the application right, for things just like this?

Well I was told by another on the forums that the chatpad is at least supported for typing(was apparently in one of the live feeds or something). Though I have no idea if it will mimic the PC keyboard layout for defiance and very much doubt it will. I think it will only be used for in game chatting atm, which is fine, as it will give an alternate means of communication.

I keep my chatpad plugged in all the time to my controller and very often use it to msg people, its also helpful in redeeming codes
. Hopefully though, it at least has some function in the game.

I only use the SmartGlass app on my iPad for the Xbox app for quick replies to messages.
It really needs more game integration and attention.
