hate to be a butthole , but this game is rated at 18+ . therefore really its upt to you as a parent to determine whether is appropriate or not to allow your kids to watch you play , not the developer.

This pretty much covers it.

I do think it's odd that the game has as much overt language as it does, though, considering it's tied in to a TV show that won't have it. They have these creative words like shtako so that they can use them on TV, but then in the game they'll wind up using both that and actual bad language in the same sentence.

I have a five year old in the room quite often when I'm playing. I use headphones to prevent her from hearing anything in game.

But its quiet alright for her to see you shoot people, blow people up and blow their heads off, dropping to the ground while the blood poors from the neck?

Why would anyone say no to allowing a language filter? It doesn't affect anyone else's game play. I won't use it but if her kids are watching it maybe she needs one or maybe don't let the kids watch it since it is 18+ but there is no nudity so WTF bring the kids into the game.

The OP has all the tools at their disposal to filter the game for her kids. Trion doesn't need to design one.

I honestly heard like two maybe three curses in my 50 hours of playing. They are barely noticeable. As other said it is up to you as a parent to filter your children from a M rated game.

You could let you kids hear it and teach them its wrong to talk such a way. Then when they hear it in the real world they won't be so surprised....

Trion please add a language filter, and clean up some of the dialog in the story line! the kids are liking the action and watching me play, but too many random Fbombs and such makes it so i have to turn off the voice and subtitles when they are watching.

no need for language and suggestive comments from NPCs.

I was really pleased to see bad language, its about time a video game set in an almost apocalypse world had some ****ing swearing, I really hate how so many video games out there don't include it
