most hyped up fight of the century ?

so i have been putting off main missions cause i didnt wanna rush it but got bored today and decided to finish em up.

ive been reading these horror stories of the NIM fight on the forums, someone claiming it was the hardest boss he ever fought in a videogame, so i went into the fight expecting a rough time, and prepared to die alot. standard shotgun build and a pretty ****ty VBI autoshotty.

major dissapointment followed..... he was able to get my shield down ONCE, killed him first try the phases where over before they started it felt like, whole fight took about 3-4 minutes

im starting to worry about the community if this fight poses a major problem, seriously i have more problems with a tanker solo

After reading the spoilers you won the fight in one round and then came here and complained the fight was to easy?

except there whasnt any spoilers in the threads, just said it was "hard", no explanation of the fights.

ofc if i had knew the tactics wich are BASICLY NONE (stay out of bad ****, move alot) wich pretty much goes for every fight in the game, i wouldnt have complained

I read no spoilers and beat it after dying one time. Not going to pretend it was super easy, almost died on phase 3 on try 2, but I didn't understand all the fuss about it either.

I followed one simple trick:

It's a much more mobile fight than most in the game. You can't run from cover to cover and take shots like you can pretty much elsewhere. That's probably what is throwing people (particularly snipers/long ranged folks). I can see shotgunners having a blast with the fight and finding it very easy.

Yeah it sucked for snipers, so i swapped my sniper rifle out for some trash I'd picked up on the way to his arena and did it with ease :P

i did bullet for badman last night, i heard how hard it was, some of my guildies that had been ahead of me and had done alot of arkfalls and such so they have abotu 2x my ego level had yet to complete it.

i tried it first time in a way i am not used to and died. 2nd attempt did it my usual way and did it with a single self rez(make sure your self rez is not on cd when you start it). wasn't even that bad. i think the explosions 101 end boss is tougher.

I heard it was hard but didnt read anything about it and expected to get frustrated when I started....
I just rolled around when I was low on health and killed him on first try.
