Defi2050.......Really?

What really made me laugh outloud is when i saw that grenades will have cooldown in 2050 (at launch).

Currently I see no reason to play it as a PC player.

Slightly better graphics? - That's a matter of opinion, what I've seen so far hasn't impressed me.

Less Crashes / Lag / Bugs? - This is Trion we are talking about.

Give up all your hard earned weapons? - check

Start over on the annoying ego grid - check

Same story (which is OK / isn't OK I like the original story, but having run through it now more than a handful of times, I'm ready for something new!) - check

So far this looks like a lame way to reset the player base to try to get more cash inflow from loot-boxes and microtransactions. I've been running around leveling an alt these past few weeks, I had forgotten how annoying Defiance can be when trying to play it with sub-par weapons, and now that JPs no longer drop in game it makes me wonder why I'm even bothering.

Currently I see no reason to play it as a PC player.

I can see where you're coming from on graphics, there is no reason I can tell for them to not just give you guys the "new" graphics on the PC version of current Defiance.

Hopefully as time goes by they add enough content that it makes sense for PC players to switch to 2050.

The same devs = same fate/path. So why doesn't D2050 has its own forum? Plus, are the devs going to only be on D2050 or will they also be on this defiance? since it's not going to be shut down "any time soon" we should expect some REAL updates right? or should we not? I mean there has been nothing since the end of the last REAL event: OB event in mid 2017!

I hate social media platforms especially when a company like this uses them for all pertinent information. They advertise a new community manager (would think the official forums would be #1 priority) on the livestream so you know the dude exists yet they rarely make an appearance to answer a question and when they do it's buried in page 3 of a 9 page thread. It's not really that hard to copy and paste a statement but for some reason it is usually up to the community to compile all game related info and post it up then it gets buried under a mountain of garbage and people continue to ask the same question. Don't really think a new forum is needed as this one is rarely used.

All I can think of is the definition of the word Insanity. Which seems to be the case here, yet again.

Let all speak .guys who play and love defiance will have their say.to me 2050 is the original game rehashed .all the paid for items have been removed .all the changes that trion have made since launch have been reset .what i see happening is trion soon after launch introducing stronger and better classes in game .this is to get you cash involved in a game that is outdated and has never worked properly from launch. Trion have already sighted that the game changes made are driven towards creating a more stable game and not a cash grabbing expo.they must think us stupid but then after 4 years overpaying on instore items bit boxes inventry slots i guess i must be. To release the original pc game on new gen and call it re-imagened .i say trion tell us soon how you convert valour your wearing thin .release a convertion table soon please .say somthing that has truth or meaning.all you have done to 2050 is remove the nano and synergys from guns and shields and added it to the player class. Basicly saying you will drop guns but there untradable and **** .but you can buy a new class every month which you will snowball every week or month .thanks but no for me

Expos, Shrill and Grid are high-level content. At launch, everyone is low-level. Heck, even San Francisco is not for newbies. So I don't see any problem here. They should add that content later.

On the current path I'd say the biggest thing missing is going to be a player-base.........

The player bace will be high compere to ps3.Not many people use ps3 no more,The shrill and grid are a high lvl enemy and is not needed at launch and bata.Trade is not needed at start as we have no good wepons to trade.I dont understand the problem.Trion are not going to tern def 2050 into the mess def 13 is.Big clangs,big inventory,to many synagey,and wepons take to much data. i would prefer to play the new defiance that has no lag and no hard crashes.
