Defiance: Season Pass - Official

We have unveiled the first details around our Defiance Season Pass. Players who want to save cash on the first 5 DLC packs rolling out after launch can now pre-purchase the Defiance Season Pass for $39.99USD. Gamers will get a massive amount of content including a new playable alien species, new weapons and vehicles, missions, and rewards, plus two bonus items, an exclusive digital Hellbug combat cap and a Lock Box.



The Defiance Season Pass can be purchased for $39.99 (PlayStation®Network) / 3200 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) / $39.99 (PC). Once purchased, the content packs will be automatically available as they go live.

I bought the Gamestop Ultimate Edition and it came with the season pass. I do not think other then the skull cap I got any of the season pass downloads, is this because none of the DLC is out yet like the new playable Alien Race, Areas and ect.

My biggest question, is this. I have one ps3. My boyfriend and I both play defiance on this one ps3. I have bought a season pass, but I don't wanna redeem it till I know for sure. If I redeem it on my account, will both accounts have access, or just my account? We've gotten DLC for other games and are able to share it since the dlc is saved to the system but not the account. I really wanna know before I put my code in, seeing as how we were unable to share any of the preorder items.

It should be per account. The flag is based on what your account can do on its own. Since we all have access to the same stuff (except the DLC), I'm going to venture a guess that we all play with the same clients (per type - PS3, 360, PC), so the only thing changing is whether or not each specific account can get new items, quests, etc.

No. The DLC is completely optional. You can play the game in its entirety, to its completion, without purchasing any additional content. The DLC is just there to extend the core gaming experience.

I think you thought he said "complete" when he said compete. "Will the new DLC have better gear that makes previous chapters obsolete?" is what he means.

And to answer this - probably. Odds are they'll tell you that it won't make the DLC purchases have an unfair advantage, but they probably will. Since there'll be new in-game content, i doubt they'll make previous game content just as good - who would want to buy that?

I preordered yesterday. Got the in-game cap, but never got the lockbox. Not in the store to download. I also bought two lockboxes today in the game and never got the items (though it did deduct the cost from me). Oh well. This is on the Xbox and I read this post just a moment ago (http://community.defiance.com/en/201...erent-results/), so I realize it's probably all related.

There is a separate steam Key that you need to add to your Trion Account.

i ust wanna know when the first dlc is coming.... will the people who pre-ordered the season pass get a free race change??? or will rac changes be added to the cash shop???? because lets be honest... we all know making alts in defiance is pretty much pointless lol..... u dont want to start a new toon when r old one is allready at 2k ego and do the same missions the exact same way doing all the same things till 2 k ego again. besides... all the boosts would prolly be over by then and doing it - the boosts would take even longer.... it would just become a chore at that point.
