We have unveiled the first details around our Defiance Season Pass. Players who want to save cash on the first 5 DLC packs rolling out after launch can now pre-purchase the Defiance Season Pass for $39.99USD. Gamers will get a massive amount of content including a new playable alien species, new weapons and vehicles, missions, and rewards, plus two bonus items, an exclusive digital Hellbug combat cap and a Lock Box.



The Defiance Season Pass can be purchased for $39.99 (PlayStation®Network) / 3200 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) / $39.99 (PC). Once purchased, the content packs will be automatically available as they go live.

seems like the absolute worst season pass I've ever heard of. I bet you guys took a lot of the outfits from the beta and gave us a **** selection so we would either buy the ones in the game store for 12$ or buy a 40$ season pass just so we can get ooo more weapons that dont do anything, or more vehicles, that are a slightly different color than the ones we have. But it'll still be the exact same content. it's everything that should have been in the game, but you're just spoon feeding it to us over time, as opposed to adding a true DLC. Awesome.

Just like the completely bogus amount of content you get for $40 ****ing dollars. the deluxe edition addon? jesus christ. what a waste. That's 2/3 the price of this game, and you guys think it's worth while. Clearly you icelandic people dont actually understand the value of a dollar or what we expect when we actually give someone money.

I haven't ranted on these forums until I saw this, because this right here is what made me lose faith in you guys. Of course on top of everything else.

Sorry I feel like an idiot but I read over and over the description of the season pass on the website and steam but I'm still not understanding exactly.....Can somebody help me, please?

Does the pass mean I will just pay a one-time fee and get all of the DLC when they're released and don't have to spend more money? Or does it mean I pay for a discount off of all/each of the DLC that's to be released.....I've never bought a season pass for any game before so I'm new to this. Thanks for any help.

Forgive me if I am repeating question, but all this talk about DLCs makes me wonder what will those that don't buy DLCs get in the future? Do they get anything as the game unfolds? Missions, weapon, vehicles, that sort of things. Something like payed DLCs will bring.
I don't really understand how this is supposed to work.
Purchasing the game, which we all did so far, gets you what? Just what we see now, with added story missions as the show progresses? Or will there be anything else.

Seeing the difference between buying and not buying those DLCs can make a big difference. Maybe Sledgehammer70 can post a comparison between those two options. Or any other there might be.

I know the guys are working hard to fix the dropping connectivity for Xbox (which I have lost a ton of XP over), but was wondering, I have purchased my season pass but have not received an exclusive digital Hellbug combat cap and a Lock Box... Is there an issue with these too?? I have received my game pre order items.

You will prolly get new weapons and outfits but no access to the new maps. That's pretty logical

Actually it's the exact opposite. You get the new maps and locations, but you wont get the possibly new cars, outfits and those sorts.
