I bought the Ultimate Edition (PC) and did have the hat but that recently changed to sunglasses which isnt cool.

Also I never received a lockbox other than my UE one.

how much will the DLC be seperate? and will the 5 in the season pass have the same type of content as what you described?

Two things
1) Is one DLC mandatory if you want the rest (like wow expansions)?
2) Is this the season pass that was with pre orders a while back?

devs have stated that content will be free, season pass is bonus stuff, but everyone will be able to play everything with or without DLC purchases.

If you bought the season pass through Trion you should recieve an email shortly from them with a serial key in it to claim the season pass items, if you have bought it through Steam it will be in your CD-Key section on the Defiance Tab.

Is any free meaningful content going to get added or will people have to buy the DLC to get new meaningful content.

I mean new Co-Op maps, new Competitive mode maps, new story missions.

I am very very disappointed with the "free" Episode Pursuits that were added... trying to do them has made me start to get really tired of the game because they are sooo bugged and glitched and wasting time I should be spending enjoying the game.

If you have used the key (and got the hat) then the claimable lock boxes are auto opened at the same time, so all you got was 2 random items added (T2 lock box)
