I don't have the time to read all 29 pages to find the answer to my question so hopefully someone can clear this up for me.
My wife and I are both going to be playing on separate xboxes. Do we both have to buy the DLC or can one of us DL it for both consoles?
I think you have toi buy both because each DLC is per account, unless you can play both boxes under 1 account.

I'm sure it would one for each account, but if you are getting the Ultimate Edition preorder it comes with one thrown in. Also the DLC is optional so you don't really need it, it's just nice to have if you want it.Originally Posted by ToneSim

well, the way dlc generally works on Xbox is that it has two licenses. One for the console it was initially purchased on and one for the gamertag that made the purchase. For instance, my wife bought all of the borderlands 2 dlc on my console. Since she did that, i can play any part of that game without her signing into my console. However she can also play the same content on her machine even though she didn't purchase it there because her gamertag owns it. I, on the other hand, can't play it on her console unless she is signed in because my console carries the initial purchase license.
So you can't both play it at the same time correct? (I'm a PC gamer myself.)
It might work the same way (that's an assumption of course), but then the question is would you both want to play at the same time?

We're buying two copies of the game and will both be playing.
I am trying to figure out if the season pass needs to be paid for twice in order for us both to get the content. Using the method I described above we can simultaneously use any dlc we have purchased to date.
So, I want to know if I have one season pass shared between two consoles in this manner are we both covered?
I guess I should note that we shared a season pass for other games this way.
Of course.. if we could share season passes then me and dead and Dihydrogen and Asheki and blahblah... and etc etc... would all just buy one and share it. lol.

Hmmm... since this is for the Xbox the rules maybe different I'd PM one of the community managers (like Sledgehammer70 or Myll_Erik) to make sure. I doubt it would be different from the typical DLC for the Xbox, but I'd ask them to make sure.

it's xbox, not pc so the way dlc works is different. like I said it would not be the first time we have
shared a content/season pass.
it's a legitimate question not outside the realm of possibility so you can eat your lols.
and no, using this method you would notbe able to share amongst several people as you suggested.
you either did not read or did not comprehend my explaination. this method only makes it possible for two
consoles to share content simultaneously.
