When I downloaded the beta it said my password was incorrect. So I went to the we site and changed it. Now when I try to sign in with my gamertag it says "your login attempt failed. Pleas try again. " I've restarted the game and Xbox numerous times but still have the issue. Been trying for over an hour. Any help would be greatly appreciated
PS4 - drove past my mission point to get to an event. I have no idea what the mission is called (no journal) but it has something to do with Von Bach, near Blooodbath Turnout. The mission is now gone upon returning, EGO says something about mutants getting there first, and then it's just floods of enemies; nothing to interact with. I have zero missions available on my map. I am EGO level 9.
Also had to restart a new character due to a disconnect and not being able to finish the very first mission. As with others, I had no grenades.
Edit to add: logged out and reloaded game, did not fix anything.
Edit 2: A major arkfall landed on my head and for whatever reason fixed my no missions bug. I'm now EGO 21, the "new missions available" popped up, and again, no missions.
Cannot log into game at all. Keep getting error connection to the server has timed out. Has been like this all day.
I try to get on the game on my PS4 and when i press options, I get a Critical The Defiance service is not available. Please try again later.
Same exact thing happened to me did exactly what you did only to find out I had to restart my character again. Wait until you get to sniper's ridge..if you can even still get on. Been stuck there for 6 hours.
Here is my list (PS4):
1. Vehicle won't spawn at random - So far it has happened over a bridge and near a side quest. With the latter it didn't matter if I left the area, the loading bar would not even animate though I did get the sound effects and dialogue.
2. Missing assets - I've ran into several instances, but when doing missions and side quests it becomes a problem. I've had nothing to interact with while trying to scan assets or trying to get a side quest, even if I have the marker on the map and the icon on top of it. During a side quest just turning around would fix it, but at times even clearing all enemies and leaving the area would not help.

3. I could not do damage to enemies while shooting them across the lane over a bridge, only if I was on their side of the road.
4. Auto picking loot doesn't seem to work for me, I can grab ammo OK, but I still have to interact with other stuff, even when I changed my settings. Also, it would be nice having a way to distinguish ammo from other stuff besides the color indicating the quality of items.
5. Not precisely a bug, but enemies sure like to teleport a lot. Also crouching is not very useful, it would be better if you could actually take take cover.

I was running into this issue as well. I did figure out if you press Y to skip the cut screen it seems to work.
During the crash mission the NPC talks about using a grenade and having a cooldown but we dont get any grenade. The Advanced Weapon would spawn multiple times but be out of ammo and once set down disappear... out of luck of walking behind the crate near the wall we exit over and pressing X I finally was able to get the Advanced Weapon.
Once I was able to get out of the crash mission there was probably 40-50 people there and was very laggy. Once I accepted the mission and moved along it seemed to get better...but things I was supposed to interact with to advance the mission was not there so I would have to spam my X button in and finally could move on.
Once I got to Earth Republic it was super laggy again...but was probably due to the number of players there.
The level rate is a bit fast from what I was used to. It feels like im going to blow thru the 50 ego levels in no time where was the old game we had 6000 that spanned stuff needed to be done thru out the whole game. Part of leveling is the grind of experience and growing with your character...not blowing thru the levels and being max by the end of the first few days.
Skills...I also much rather the much larger skill grid with like 500 points needed but eventually filling them all the further you got in game.
I am not going to touch the game for the remainder of this part of the beta as I want to see what gets fixed and what does not...as it shows me the developers are listening. Hope some of this helps...I look forward to sinking another 1000 hours into this game as long as it works.

Just tried to do a dark matter arkfall it went on for soooo long and we could not kill him. I know we dropped his thing out at least 10 times. It was only a level 5 threat and it finally ran out of time or something there was no timer.
In the tutorial quest I could not pick up the heavy weapon. The gun fell into the gunbox and I could not even pick it up. When I re-started the mission, I could pick up the heavy weapon but there was no enemy. I started playing the whole game again. I finally managed to walk through the tutorial. After that, the game was thrown into the starting page every few minutes. When I got to the base, there was a complete collapse of the game. So far I got in the game. (I apologize for grammar, English is not my mother tongue.)
There is bad screen tearing on xbox one x when firing an automatic weapon, the fire coming out of it splits and looks weird. Besides that the beta is great!
