First impressions, bugs and feedback - PC EU
May I ask first ... what happened to the night sky??? When I look up in the Beta it makes me sad, the sky looks empty and dead.

...and now, where do the arkfalls come from?
- It seems the graphics miss some QM (quality management) ... there was no additional improvement beside the port on DirectX 11?
- Streets are floating,very clearly seen around IDR
- Or they're sunken in the ground
- It also seems that at some places, the ground-level has moved down too. I seen scrapper nanites disappearing under the grass and reappear every few meters.
- Around the E-Rep camp, you can see missing pixel on the cement of the broken streets. You can look through this pixel and it looks a bit like made with the spray can of MS paint ... pretty weird
- Similar pixel errors can be found on the main map, mainly along the streets. Become more obvious when you zoom in.
- I'm not quite sure, but it feels like the collision detection got worse. Especially the Dark Matter guys are running
inside the wreckage when they run for cover.
- Some Volge looks weird when dying...
- The new loading screen pictures doesn't scale correctly, I've black stripes left and right
- Some missions (quests) don't show EGO's body. At a side mission I shot on my car, which was close to her and she vanished
- The minor arkfall at bloodbath seems to have still missing enemies and can often not be finished.
- Character editor: enhance it please! When my female arkhunters are blinking, their eyebrow moves up and down. As if she were blinking with her whole forehead

... it seems to me to have become uglier at all

The arkhunter is also looking down the whole time because of the posture that assault class dictates.
New Systems
Inventory:
Love the tabs ... would love it even more when working correctly.
Some tabs doesn't show items even I have them in my inventory (eg. mods)
I run 2 times out of inventory space! lol
Items:
I struggle with the shields, not enough explanation about their pro's and con's
Same with all the granades ... how many new types are there? And how do you compare them best, when they doesn't show their damage stats?
Pretty much the same for mods, here we have weird numbers paired with an unclear value of rarity and rating.
Weapon Enhancement:
How shall I test something that is so ...unfinished?
sigh I tried it ...
- Like others said ... I only got common salvage
- No way to see how many salvage I need to gain 1 rank nor when I overpay salvage
- Adding mods or enhance a bonus isn't shown on the stats. If I put a magazine mod on my AR the weapon-card is showing less ammo, but on my HUD it's increased. I observed similar things by using ranks on a damage bonus, it isn't shown on weapon-card stats but the damage-numbers on enemies got higher. Hard to tell with stats like reload or rof ...
- Enhance a weapon through ranks adds more damage on the weapon card, couldn't see it for other stats yet.
When I try to enhance bonuses:
- After use of ranks there is no feedback at all how it has enhanced my weapon exactly.
- When I change one bonus to another (or leave it the same), it get stuck on this bonus. So I can not use ranks on any other bonus nor change another bonus.
- When I change a bonus, it seems that I often get the same selection. And if I choose the old one, why does it cost me cores?
- When I don't change a bonus, I can use ranks on all bonuses.
- The numbers looks weird to me ...
- When I change a bonus where I already used ranks on, then the assigned ranks are immediately added to the new bonus ... wouldn't it be better when we get them back so that we can redistribute them? I can not say for sure if the previously added ranks enhance the new bonus instantly, because the missing feedback on the weapon-card ...
Attach mods
- No visible improvement of my weapons stats.
- Unlock mod slots is still annoying, usually the required one get unlocked last.
- I didn't find a way to see easily which slots are already modded. I had to go back on inventory screen.
- 4 cores to pull a mod!?
Ranks, rating, rarity (and stars)
I tried yesterday to increase my power-rating (EGO25) but I stuck at under 600.

Adding ranks to a weapon did not help.
So I chose items with the highest rating for my loadouts and my power increased slightly.
I noticed a conflict with rarity and rating. I have items with a higher rarity but lower rating which are stronger than items with a higher rating.
For example: a purple shield with 535 has more capacity than a green shield with 600 (same type) ...
Shall I use worse gear to get better gear?!

Anyway, my last drops had a rating just below mine ...
(and what are the stars good for?)
I seen a lot confusion about all this, so it seems it's not only me.

It's difficult to test something proper when you do not know how it's supposed to work. I tried to focus on the things you said you want tested in this Beta (new itemization systems and scaling) but especially these systems do not work 100% or are neither fully explained nor intuitive.

But regarding scaling, I
got the feeling that enemies from emergency near Shondu's are stronger than near Bloodbath ...
Also we need more cores, I think. When all missions are completed, we only get them out of emergencies ... it's the same as it used to be on the PTS, you also have to give us the opportunity to test the things in detail! If you limit us, things go untested and bugs are overlooked ...
I hope you had made this beta in hurry and the next round will give a better outlook on the new systems and what ever is "re-imagined". I am not disappointed at all, it was even better than expected.
I had learned my lesson and hold my expectations low. But I'm not excited about the new systems ... At the moment it just looks more complicated and unnecessarily complex and the class system seems to be inflexible compared to before.
What if ... we could build the assault class differently for each loadout?
My last point, for the time being: I got it ... story and new content follow later. But it's just illogical that the New Freedom crash again 4 years later. You say that the story should go on and get more depth ... perhaps start with the New Freedom
