    Time Trial placement

I'd really like to know what's going through the minds of the people who set the time trial courses and then have arkfalls, Hellbug Monarchs, derelict vehicles and barricaded roads filled with raiders along the way, sometimes just before and after a time trial arch.

    Yes, hehe, deploy the monarch!

Agreed. That black Challenger better be like the bloody Batmobile for the amount of work we have to do to earn it.

It's pretty stylish, getting gold is easy, it just seems sometimes these placements of obstacles is extremely unnecessary. We already get rocketed into the air if we hit a stray small rock by accident.

It's the way a lot of things in the game are. Stuff ties into other stuff. It seems like a very deliberate design decision to make it so that when you head out one way to do one thing, you actually have to work pretty damn hard to not end up doing ten other things on the way there. It can be really frustrating when all you want to do is that one thing, sure, but I like it.

No I get that. I mean what they ask of us to do in some of these trials we can't. I don't play and absolutely hate racing games because my brain doesn't think like a driver. And these trials are looking for those kinds of people.

It can be a pain, but I think it's more fun than going into some netherworld that does not touch any other part of the game.

It also makes it so you can go back and do it later, and maybe have it be a little different.

happened to me on one of the tracks a huge truck just spawned in the middle of the track that was incredibly hard to get around at full boost. managed to get gold in the end though.

now if i can only get that giant robot d**k out the way so i can get the final 3 gold medals it will be fine :/ ...

i found it adds challenge, when you're going for it down a road and the game uses wild miner roadblock, you have either the option to run up the wall and try to jump it, run around it, or try to plough through it and risk the invisible van enemy.
