I have music. It usually starts up when I'm approaching some dangerous situation or in an important part of a mission. Should there be more?

And no, this is just the atmospheric theme of the dangerous area.

The best exemples are the instances, really guys, check a video on youtube of the first instance on pc, with sounds, this is not the same game.
No music at all during instances on ps3, it's so dead...

The themes are pretty epic.

From the patch notes it looks like its very likely the music will be added in thankfully.

I'm sure it is possible on the ps3, on my nettop 1.6ghz atom + Nvidia ION + 2gb, the dynamic themes are here without any lag or something, of course the framerate sucks, but no delayed sounds or missings themes on a crappy configuration like this.
So, on a gaming system like a PS3 ?

Do something about it, please. I love this game but the atmosphere is so dead on consoles without.

Honestly, you're better off without it atm.
I'm a PC player, and at current time, the music is really buggy...
For instance.. if you enter a combat scenario, the combat "music" starts, wich is more repetative than even old atari-games managed to be.. Not only that, but often the combat music gets stuck on loop even after the combat is over.. Only solution is to completely restart the effin game. (log out doesn't work).

Personally, I've muted the music completely because of this, and I suspect alot of other players have aswell.

So enjoy the game as it is.. Music will be added.. someday.. But there's honestly alot of other bugs that should take first priority before music.. (launch has been everything BUT problem free when it comes to bugs.)

Just saying! If the game doesn't work properly,constantly freezing, glitching, losing weapons, etc. What good is having music? Really??

Working game over music. People that say why can't we have both i would love to hear their thoughts specific to code and the overall issue of processor as well as bandwidth limitations that people have and how you would alter these thing to make it work now. Given your saying want both now you must be smarter then they are and know of a way.

Yes PS3 players, you read well.
The music has been removed from the PS3 version.

The only music of the PS3 version are the main menu theme and the atmospheric theme.
I have the game on PC too, and there are a looooot of other themes in this game, absents on PS3.

Especially the dynamic combat themes, differents on each zones or instances, it brings great energy to the game, but really.

It's a shame to have removed the music from the console version of the game.
Please fix it and add all the music from the pc version on PS3 too.

sad to hear this, i never realized it had more music. but would make sense since they did pack in a soundtrack cd in which i dont hear the tracks in game. thanks for the info.
