The pre-order sniper sounds badass over the gamestop gun, but the physical stuff is so tempting.
I hate missing out on little pieces of digital stuff like this.
Shame there isn't one definitive copy that has absolutely everything in it.
Maybe Trion will make the physical copies optional to activate on Steam, thus giving your the base steam rewards.

Jekk it. I love Steam so I cancelled my preorder with Gamestop. I was going to get the Ultimate edition, but nothing is better than the Steam edition. Totally worth the scrip.

Whelp. I submit a ticket to refund and switch to Steam. See where this leads us. Before I purchased through Trion I checked Steam. I enjoy the Steam platform and prefer it to house all of my digital content. I like all my content in one area as opposed to all over the place. It's not even just about the neat bonus rewards

Heck ya. Steam is awesome. If you buy something it's yours forever. All your games are saved to your account. No need to worry about losing or scratching a disk. Also, add in the community features and the cloud sync it's pretty hard to beat Steam. I've got something like 115 games on it and all my friends are on it. Steam is the best!

I dont like to put down steam or valve at all I love the platform, but with such an obvious (potential) advantage to buying it through steam rather than the developer, I'm wondering if Valve didnt throw some weight around. Something to the tune of "Well if you want us to put this on Steam, you are going to have to let us offer some serious bonuses so we can drive up pre-orders". Trion wants access to the steam community, especially with those people who will only buy games through steam, so it's a win for them in exposure and access to a larger playerbase, even if it hurts potential, direct, pre-orders.
I might wait a few days to see how this plays out, then try to cancel my trion order and get it through steam. I mean, come on, more inventory slots!
I just love it! I was waiting alle the time hoping it will be avaiable on Steam! I think its best platform for advertise the Game even more. People will see it and think "huh? whats that?" click it, see it and bang: addictedMore people playing means better game
Sledge, could we get a confirmation on this? If people are willing to purchase multiple pre-orders from different vendors, would they be allowed to put all the exclusive digital items on a single account? With or without stacking things like inventory slots and the Scrip/XP boosts?
It makes them so much easier to count, and my memory isn't so good. I'd forget where I hid all my goodies =)
Plus Steam hasn't screwed me yet. I've been burnt by other digital distributors.
Thank you demented mouse for pushing my issue up and trying to get attenetion from sledgehammer. Another possibility, could we upgrade out physical Ultimate edition, with the digital deluxe upgrade on steam, and get all the bonuses associated. (Saving 60 dollars and avoiding the purchase of 2 full games)
