Hackers in PVP

Also have not seen this in pvp. The guy shooting the video caught the hackers name on film, should be an easy ban, although that doesn't solve the problem. Hopefully Trion takes a lesson from WarZ and doesn't get FairFight as an anti-cheat

This invisible guy killed me. Couldn't target him could only see his hovering name.

Yeah I've seen this, I think people found out a way that cloak bugs out so that you're just disjointed from the server but could still kill people and you can only see the bullets.

Met my first invisible one just now.
And there's this one guy who i'm suspicious of.

There's this person named "Jun", but that's not their actual name.
When shooting at them and in PVP they come up as "Jun", but on the results screen, it's something else.
On every results screen they come up either as [Error] or in the last match as "Jen".
Every other match i've played with his name comes up as something else entirely and never has their stats recorded. I know of this bug occuring during results screen showing up as 0, yet their name is always changing...

I've played against them at least 14 times, and everytime their name is coming up as something else.

Those aren't hacks.

It's the god awful game, being god awful. Everything you stated is a normal match, for EVERYONE, not just you. This game is beyond "laughable", and its to the point where even normal actions look like hacks. I just really want to know who their testers were, because, if they had gone to their local animal shelter, and got all the dogs to test this game. I guarantee that it would have been better.

^ this... Also, speedhacking / teleporters can be lag-wise. Which it usually is... -.-

I know people have been using CE (Cheat Engine) to speed up their game...

Well if there are people hacking there is either very few of them or they really suck because I havent seen them.

Im playing on US/PC for reference. This sort of witch hunt can be dangerous as well.

Me and 3 friends were queuing yesterday...we were doing pretty well. One match on Observatory I went like 18-3. There was one guy I killed like 7 times I think. I was joking with my friends on Vent that he was probably going to report me for hacking because he obviously has no defensive perks and a crappy shield because he goes down like a cheap w...err he dies really fast.

Again...Ive yet to see anything suspicious. Ive prolly played 50+ rounds if I had to guess. The only thing that has made me yell "Hacks!!!!" is the few times I die from Infector guns where some guy shots me a few times with it and runs off and I die behind a crate somewhere, lol.

I once had a guy one shot me from the hip with a sniper rifle at a pretty good distance....say 50 meters. I chalked it up to just a lucky shot. Again...I havent seen anything.

Heh was about to say that it was me who shot you from the hip with a sniper rifle - but not from 50 meters... I actually ran around a corner and bumped into a enemy - I instantly fired of my bolt rifle without aiming (just a reflex) and I got a freakin headshot of... at 5 meters range. Couldn't believe my luck - and I bet he was yelling "HACKER!"

i have seen plenty of cheaters so far. You can tell a "good" player from a "cheater". I'm not gonna throw names out there because it will do no good. Cheaters will be cheaters, and GM's will do nothing about it because they may lose money(stores). My personal opinion is that game companies should sue cheat makers for altering their games, but hey then again why do that when we can just ban them, and let them purchase our game again in return making us more money........

It is a shame that honest players have to pay the price for scumbags cheating and ruining our experience/fun. Cheating will never stop, the greediness/money is just too good to prevent it.

Let me tell you something - if GM's wont do anything about it, they will loose even MORE money - Lot's of games has come to short, simply because they underestimated the community. One player tells his friends, these friends tell their friends etc.. In the end, the developers loose more money from THAT, than a few bucks from hackers.
