Suggestion- better chat bar. party search options

I have been having fun playing this game and most of the missions do seem to require a co-op buddy or two to do them, however I think that is being hindered by the inability to get a party together because of an inefficient chat bar and a lack of a party menu.

The chat bar I Think needs to be semi permanent, the font smaller and the overall bar/square bigger, allowing it to be more communicable.
All I see when I look at my chat bar is "you are tied to such and such area"
And when I have tried chatting in area I never seem to go a response, I think it is awkward to use.
Look at other MMORPG's to see what I mean (Smaller font, semi perm box and more chat)

A party menu would be good as well, like you can auto join for co-op and competitive there should be a menu where you can search for parties or start one for a particular mission or instance also.

Yes the chat bar is terrible, I hate to say it but a small thing like that probably decides if I continue to play.

I agree. The chat in this game is dreadful, especially as the developers seem to have set out to make chatting to a friend nearly impossible. Off the Ctrl menu/Friends/specific friend, there is NO "send message" option. Off the Character/Ego/Social/Friends menu, same thing.

I cannot believe that the necessity of chatting with friends was evidently completely overlooked by Trion's designers/developers.
