Sure, Sony doesn't want cross-play right now because it wouldn´t favor them, and why would they want it?
They have the lead on consoles sales and player base, at the moment they don´t need that and at the same time they are protecting and nursing its clients.

People have a short memory and they use arguments as see fit to its own benefits, years ago during the time of Xbox360 and PS3 Sony suggested this same crossplay everybody is asking and guess what...MICROSOFT refused it.
Sony is just paying back the favor.

You're cracking me up here. You say what I said was BS. Then your next two sentences completely back up just what I asserted, just said differently.

Also, I never said Microsoft was any different. They are much the same, multi-national competitors for the same piece of the pie, the $$ the world spends to entertain ourselves.

Yep, drackiller, that's an entirely possible read of the same advertising... Elenoe's got her take on it. That's exactly why we are asking Trion to step up already and clarify the issue... BEFORE everyone of their PS4 EU customers chooses to drop a dime... they need to be told exactly what's available with their Ultimate Founder's packs.

For all we know, the 2 different sources of this, what ttoomm and Elenoe found, might be total hoaxes... (doubt it)... just saying... Trion's "got some 'splainin' to do!" Tell 'em Ricky.

I agree with that, but we already have a confirmation sent by email clearly stating that it`s the US only.
They are not answering cause they know they messed up, cheated and lied to people again.

It's not necessarily on Trion. We don't know when this came down. ttoomm and Elenoe can check their sources (or anyone else getting the same message, I won't I don't own a PS4 and don't live in EU) and see if they can find a date Trion would have sent this out. That might be the very day Sony EU told them no, or Sony EU never bothered to reply and never agreed at all, so Trion never got permission to offer the headstart, and Trion had to make their own decision and get the word out to their PS4 EU playerbase. Those bits ttoomm and Elenoe found could be proof Trion's attempting to BE responsible, with Sony ignoring them.

We just don't know much at all yet, and I think a lot of PS4 EU players will want to. It doesn't directly affect me, and I still want to know.

FYI the Founders Pack is on the EU PlayStation store now. I found it by searching Defiance 2050. In the description it clearly states "3-day Head Start". The pack is currently not for sale, but states "Coming 06.07.2018".

I still bet 20 scrip that pack will be available 6th, that the game will be downloadable and runnable (not "you don't own the license to run this") but neither PS4 players will be able to select EU server, only NA one. And that EU server will come up 10th. (Or you get founders pack without headstart all together.)
