Server lag, stuttering and rubberbanding are out of control.

    Absolutely unacceptable.
And this is with only the (fewer) population of the Founders Packs.

It's going to be a horrorshow when the general population of FTP players come in and clog the drains.

5 seconds to spawn a vehicle?
Another 2 or 3 seconds to be able to actually get in/on? pffFfft

I was doing all the 'Thinning the herd' instances I could.
Half of them - the Monarch would run passed and stand there after you dodged....
You stand behind him shooting, and he stutters 5 to 10 feet at a time backwards.
It turns out that hitting him where he was standing doesn't register half the time because the server thinks he's at one of the other places he rubberbanded to.
Or worse... Monarchs and Warriors can rubberband sideways several feet at a time.

Shooting at mutants that rubberband back and forth... how are you supposed to hit stuff that isn't standing where you see him because the server knows he's somewhere else, but can't show you where.

Drive from one minor Ark to the next with 2 or 3 people around you.
They're 20 feet behind you, no, they're 30 feet in front of you, no, they're behind you again, then they're disappearing over the next hill.

Love the game, but it's not always a game of shooting skill much of the time.... sometimes it's just random hits/misses.

Don't get me wrong, there are seriously great players in the game, they aim well, it's not luck.
They're good enough that they excel in spite of the stuff I posted above.

But too often an average guy is shooting at rubberbanding stuff and missing because he's aiming at stuff that aint there when he sees it there.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

Yeah, but this is the new/improved/economy sized 64 bit engine version of D-50, guaranteed to make your teeth whiter, and your breath fresher....

Maybe it's all just a misunderstanding?
Or a dream... nobody killed Bobby Ewing?

It's amazing how they rewrote the engine into 64bit, couldn't move our inventory slots, etc, but there was time, and room in the code, for all the same bugs to be ported over.

Think about how much trouble is was to replicate the bugs so exactly on brand new software.

Playing on Xbox one, Constant lag & rubber banding in open world. I can't drive towards a major event without a crash. Regretting buying founder pack.

It's like they're back to day 1 coding from last gen of consoles. Nothing learned from last gen tranferred to this gen. Does this mean we're gonna need to wait a few years before server issues are ironed out again?

It's more than likely the original dev team no longer exists, or at least the majority of core members are long gone. The new team would have to be learning what the original bugs were and then attempt to hammer them out; provided they have the budget and resources to do that in any meaningful amount of time.
