While I'm inclined to agree, certain enemies are definitely overtuned: Blacklungs and Bulwarks immediately come to mind.

I was stuck on a main quest where I was facing two blacklungs (who were within 200 PL of my own PL), I could not drain their shields with any of my guns before running out of ammo and their shields regenerating before I could shoot them again. This was also combined with an infinite spawn of regular enemies (who I could kill in 1-2 shots).

The only reason I got past this quest was because both blacklungs eventually got stuck melee slamming the defense objective, and I was able to repair the objective every two seconds while killing the regular mobs. The objective bar would slowly fill up for a second before being destroyed again.

Because look at all of those ultra successful MMOs with forced grouping vs all of those dead mmos where you can easily solo /s

More challenging missions are ok , but some enemies are too overpowered.
Multiple blacklungs spamming their grenades at you and you dodge from side to side , not able to shoot. And if you shoot ammo is real quick empty
One bulwark is hard to kill , but 3 of them is impossible (solo) (The mission in the south of SF , can't remember their name )

But worst mission so far I've played was the mission at Bernal-Tower. Every weapon/grenades I tried do literally no damage or not enough damage. I died multiple times. I have to call some friends to help me out of there. Soloing the mission is also impossible.
Again , more challenging is ok , but if you can't do (some) missions alone get's very frustating.

I don't know if that's a sarcasm or not but forced grouping (e.g. 3 vs 3 arena battles) should be as few as possible. Soloing the game should be hard to encourage players to team up with others but still rewards those who prefer to play alone.

If a player have godlike skill and extensive metaknowledge of the game maybe he/she should be able to clear any content of the game SOLO. An example of this is TERA - in that game you can solo every dungeons with difficulty but only up to a certain point. High level dungeons which are meant for 10 people can be soloable only if you are proficient in using "iframes" (invincibility frames), which are skills' animation windows where/when you are invincible.

i just dont like the new movement they added to enemies i understand they probably thought vets of defiance were aiming too easy, but this game is a grind, combat cant be getting annoying or the grind becomes annoying

also i think all the vets playing defy 2050 right now skews how difficult they need to level enemies, when these freebie newbs get on they gonna be like holy shtako these newbs are terrible and getting slaughtered out here we gotta make the game easier on them

devs will run into this problem eventually unless enemy difficulty scaling is addressed

If this (the difficulty) is like the open beta then I definitely want them to keep it as it is.
I’ve played the beta. The enemy were not this difficult. but that was a while ago so..

I dunno, I like that it's tougher. I think that's the idea, to get more folks to work together with the classes. I did notice it during the Beta that it was tougher sledding. I want a challenge so it takes a bit of skill and planning. Blacklungs are a serious pain, like chopping down a tree a pocket knife sometimes. If you don't hit the tanks on his back it does nothing.

I'm fine with the difficulty. I solo most of the time and am used to struggles.

I would like my heal stims and ammo spikes back though. Please?

If you choose to solo... then play smarter, use more effective weapons, start using the appropriate nanos... etc. Sure it's very early to have any of that dialed in yet. But start thinking about it, and save those nano/ammo mods you will need/want in your equipped guns.

Play smarter, this isn't Easyfiance anymore. Yeah, no one says 'easyfiance'... I know it's lame.
Holy Toledo Batman! THANK YOU. I’m sorry that he’s having troubles killing a boss, but I’m some essence, you have to pay attention to the power rating at the top left. Also, I’ve never personally had a problem with killing a tanker.. every 250-300 PR I spend my scrip in mid tier mods so I can try to get the electric nano or acid/nuclear/poison what ever it’s called lol.

Just make sure that your hitting the tanker properly. I’m at ego 1750ish and I’m killing 2000 ego tankers with ease... now bulwarks in the other hand... that’s a different story lol

they seem the same to me. They all have a number near HP bar. Each zone on the map has minimum mob power rating. If you are above, they will scale to be slightly below yours. If you are below they will have skull(s) above theirs HP bars.

If more players are doing the same mission they get harder and more numerous. I find it solo to be the easiest way. They are weaker and more predictable. With more players running randomly, not staying near me, not focusing fire.. mob who is attacking me is just stronger. Solo is the way unless you have coordinated friend.

I don't have problem with difficulty even when I'm noob to this game and doing many stupid things. Dying time to time, mostly to instants, but all big mobs do predictable things and the more I kill the more I'm able to avoid all of theirs attacks. Hiding behind things from small mobs a preferring longer distance when possible.

I've leveled all classes while XP bonus is up and it doesn't matter that much (using sniper/AR with all of them most of time). Assault is the easiest and "the best" for soloing. I fall back to him when it gets harder or unknown. Even when I'm pure DPS/Sniper guy. Assault is the way :P (panic button for instant selfheal noone else has, speed for running our of **** or to target, +40% damage buff when needed). Good enough to carry me over the contract mission in San Francisco with mobs 800 rating above me.

Assassin dies most of them. Without heal.. if he can't control the situation.. which he often can't - too many "ambushes". He seems to be good for single target DPS when others are covering for him. Not much for surviving on his own.

I don't understand guardian as nothing it has seems to be able to hold damage that much better to even try to taunt. But at least he has "second wind", impenetrable shield good for cover while using mission objectives and at least some heal.

Combat medic is enjoyable, I like to buff people around and he survives with healing drone. Long CD, but when things go wrong he doesn't die miserably like assassin.

I don't like demolisher. Skills seems plain useless for normal gameplay. But he has buffs for explosives so sieges are for him I guess.

But even leveling them from 1 wasn't much issue. Skills play minor part on the normal map it seems.
