    Coop the full game?

Loved this game on the 360 but i mainly played solo. Now it's coming to the xb1 me and the wife have a console each so wondered if we could party up from the start and go though the whole game together. Wondering if this is possible and does progress save on each profile no matter who is the leader, like the with division, destiny etc.

I think the only thing you can´t do cooperatively is the tutorial.

you game saves to the server when you get disconnected or sign out automatically , Every player on same platform shares the same open world in the game you can group (party) with you wife and still go off and do separate missions the reunite , In the group menu you can use option to teleport to group member at any time if they need assistance , In ps3 original game you could teleport to people in friend and clan list too even when not in a group.
only pvp and co-op instance missions require 4 or more players
Also some vehicles like the rollers in the game allow group members to be passengers so you can travel fast the furious roads together smiling while shouting WE WILL ARRIVE AT THE GATES OF VALHALLA, SHINY AND CHROME .

just make sure you both select to do the mission. ie if i take you into final boss when you start, as you didnt have that mission as your selected mission, it wont count

You definitely can play the whole game Co-op. Could on the original version too. My wife and I played the original that way and will do so again soon. You both just need to be on the same quest and you'll be fine. You wont share cutscenes and stuff like you can in SWTOR but other than that it works out pretty well.

Particularly well in my case since my wife is terrible at driving in game. I'd make the obvious 'just like real life' joke here but its more tied to vertigo issues she sometimes gets in games. So the multi-player vehicles are great for us. I handle transportation and she can relax.

Yeah... can't wait until I can co-op the story line with my youngest brother, he never got the chance to play OG Defiance, but was a huge fan of the TV show.

We're both Ultimate Founders who couldn't play all weekend... hope last night's hot fix changes that.
    Defiance 2050 = 2018's worst cash grab. 100% fact.

Imagine thinking a recycled event is more important than server performance in 2021.
