The valor that people gained from pursuits isn´t that much and anyone that bought the season pass and things from the store will have more valor than them.

Do you happen to know or have an official response regarding how valor points calculate and transfer over to user accounts? From what I'm experiencing some players in my clan have stated they paid no money in the old Defiance and only did the valor pursuits and received over 5-10k valor points compared to other clanmates (myself included) who have spent over 100 dollars and only received a lil under 3500 valor points.

Its the other way round lol. what has a vet got to do with it.lol vets now days are just people that got the hard copy and never played for 4 years. The people that pay and play do get more.

I wanted to add this part too, the other insulting part of the way Trion handled this was to restrict valor spending to a limit pre-selection in the store. I remember some time ago they said we would be able to use our valor points in there store. I guess they revised that to line of thought to ONLY one small tiny limited pre-selection of the store. Those players who have over 21k valor points are SOL since they can't buy anything else.

I got 6K Valor and I didn´t spend much more than you do, also my pursuit rating wasn´t very high, just around 1600.

For much that I´ve been reading and what you´re saying, my conclusion is that their conversion table for valor failed completely.

Trion said all the things from the account upgrade wpuld be transferred. Two days before early access they release the announcement. Which than states all of these things needed to be bought thru the in game store. This had never been said before even after countless questions about this during the livestreams. So if you used a game disc code, earned these things in game or bought them from a vendor you lost out, because the dev's said one thing and the big wigs wanted more money! With all the years in gaming Trion should have known better. The Valor system is a joke as well. I think these things had been planned from the start. Trion not addressing this at all makes them look even more guilty!

Then to add insult to injury. not only is the game worse can connect/crashing or even do arkfalls. Its pure pay to win. They changed the power system to directly benefit salvage and enhancing. And you can now buy salvage....pay to win trash.

This is not the first time, and probably wont be the last, Trion has been caught out telling porkies. The funny thing is though they always seem to create rubbish games by starting with great games and applying their business/development philosophy to them. I honestly don't think Trion understands their customers or the modern game players at all. They have gone from being the standout shining lights to one of the most despised in a relatively short space of time.

I spent a bit of money, atleast 100$, in old defiance, and had around 1.8k pursuit rating but only got 2,500 valor.

I'm not sure which FAQ they are referring to.

Several people in the forums are talking about the Valor FAQ above, that clearly states:

Account based upgrades will be transferable to Defiance 2050.

The FAQ above is dated 03/08/2018. In this FAQ and the inumerous mentions about the Valor program after that, Trion ALWAYS repeated that Character/Loadout slots would be transferred from OLDefiance to 2050. They NEVER imposed any limitations, conditions, restrictions, terms, etc, on that. What was said was pretty simple: whichever Account upgrade you had, doesn't matter how you obtained it, would be transferred to 2050.

Then, about 2 days into headstart, when people were complaining that they haven't received all the loadout and character slots they had in OLDefiance, a Dev came on the forums and said "only upgrades bought with bits would be transferred". That was NEVER mentioned before.

So, if you purchased the game before it went to F2P, like me, you automatically got shafted in your expectations -- expectations that were built for THREE MONTHS since the announcement of the Valor FAQ -, because of Trion's now infamous "clearer communications"

I don't intend to let this subject die without proper discussion.
