Defiance,new game of choice

good news, i've been trying to talk so many people into getting it, they seem interested, but i doubt they will follow through and get the game, cause quite frankly most people i know don't play mmo's actually none do, i really hope this game doesn't flop cause i see the potential, and also think this is the beginning of a new trend in gaming, where entertainment will merge, cause movies are losing steam compared to the growing video game entertainment market, and we all get to be the old geezers saying we played the very first one, defiance

If this game is good, I think the show will bring in lots of people to the game. I don't really see this game as a burst out of the door with lots of people playing, but after release we will probably see a surge of people and then steady growth for some time. (especially dependant on how good the tv show is as well)

Also if you have been on the forums for any amount of time you can see there has been a ton of growth already for fan base and interest.

i actually think the game will bring more viewers to the show, then the show will to the game, cause i for one, just watch sports on tv, would rather game then watch a tv show or movie, which is why im intrigued by this whole concept, cause now i can actually in a small way, have an effect on the show, instead of just watching it

would have been nicer if we could have a major impact on the show, like how we defeat a boss, or say there's a series of choices we make in the gap between season 1 and 2, and we all get to decide the choice the war takes, loose example, but it should make sense to all, kind of like mass effect how our choices affect the next game, i know writers would hate this, but if the game becomes the driving force which i think it will, what say can they really have, that would be my ideal scenario for this franchise moving forward
