The story I came up with my character is about him being from New Orleans originally. So I was curious if there's been any lore put out on exactly what happened to the gulf?
The Mississippi river still exists, but apparently it's running UNDER GROUND below St. Louis? Is the southern united states now all mountainous rather than a giant basin? Did the Acadiana and New Orleans regions of Louisiana just get flooded? Are they now alien infested swamps?
Inquiring minds want to know! Any answers would be appreciated.
Right now I'm imagining a rebuild New Orleans in a giant cavern mouth, the port to the longest, most dangerous underground water route in the world, where the gulanite mines are rich, but dangerous from attacks by Hellbugs or those warbot guys, Volgue I think they're called?
