    Weapon Vender Descriptions

Not sure if I'm kicking another dead horse knowing we're tripping over 100s of thoroughbreds taking dirt naps, but the weapon venders not showing descriptions for what the weapons are hopefully is not intended on the PS4 NA. Multiple weapons are shown multiples of the same as you scroll down through the list, but no descriptions.

In theory the top weapons are ok and getting to the bottom are better... but... there is nothing describing them. What's their level? Damage? Sure it says with a random 3 stats but what about the rest? I'm not dropping a script or let alone the faction rep for some mystery weapon. Is it better then what I have even with it mod'd out? Being that a blue weapon is not always better then a green other then most of the time a blue will have two open mod slots compared to a green having one. But damage wise isn't a constant higher value between the two. Nor weapon quality shown by a star level. Further up the food chain purples have three open mod slots on pick up but the same with green to blue damage is not always a constant greater value

I'm not trading in a hand cannon all tricked out for a nerf gun. i know there are hundred other issues way more important to be addressed but maybe a simple win is better then no win to have a description of the weapons listed. It has at the bottom of the venue to the left showing the pressing of the left direction button on the D pad of the PS4 controler to compare weapons and to the right says something like close comparison. What comparison? That's only there to look pretty, doesn't do anything. There's nothing to describe to compare. Just a weapon name icon and price doesn't work for I hope the many.

I only use it now and then to roll the dice on a weapon mod here and there. But I have no intention of spending any script or wasting rep points on a mystery pee shooter.

Not sure which weapons you mean. I only ever cared about faction (reputation) ones and there are no duplicates. They offer very specific weapons so no confusion, you pick the one you know you want. And you get it. It will only have random stats which is unpredictable and you can only change one.

Rarity itself doesn't affect base anything. So purple and green will be the same damage. It affects bonus stats and bonus effects. So purple will have +56 while green has like +13. It's the same for shields. Higher PR green is always "stronger". Purple vs green will mean one has +23% regen while the other only has +7%. It's also reason why rarity is VERY relevant for mods only. As those are all about bonus. Mods are the only one where PR 1000 purple is stronger then 1700 green.

Yes yes, I understand all that. guess I was leaning more towards weapon quality and wanted to see more numbers and missed the mark. i understand the random 3 mod rolls on pick up but what about the rest. When choosing the weapon u want to change to in ur inventory u see damage stats, fall off, rate of fire.... U may have a few of the same type but u choose by stats or color. at the vender it's just a name and price besides green blue or purple. So i just choose one and hope regardless of the 3 random mod enhancements or what's pre unlocked and color that the base fall off range, damage and down the list will just automatically be better then what I have fully modded or not?

oh, that way.. Well when I was 50 to open faction shop I've already tried all the versions and knew which version I want to upgrade. And then you need to wait a week for enough points to gather... never though about how they look, just how they feel and if I can operate them as I want

I guess seeing exact stats might be a problem as the PR is determined upon purchase so the stats are unknown when you see them in shop.

But you know the rarity (green, blue) and you know the name. That's all you need to know. The name itself says what stat balance/inclination it will have. Some do more damage but are slow, some are fast but have low mag, it will be always the same for same name. Then only PR says how high base stats are. So if you have the same weapon -100PR (base) lower it will be weaker but will have the same "inclination". Bonuses will be same on both and their magnitude is determined by rarity. So two blue weapons will be very similar (aside the RNG in values which again you will know only after purchase when it's rolled). Mods are same for both - whatever you put there. You can/will unlock all mod slots so the RNG "which" don't really matter.

You can't tell if the freshly bought unmodded blue Top-Notch bolt sniper rifle will be better then whatever modded purple version of Top-Notch bolt sniper rifle you may have. But you can do pretty good guess. If the blue will be +200 rarity then the purple, it will be better no matter what.

I see your point. I'm 50 as well finishing off guardian then on to the demo to finish them off. Got pockets full of loot, just trying to figure out if grabbin from the guns r us shop is better then what i'm picking up in the same color tears to just focus on strippin down what I pick up for parts then holding on to them. Didn't ant to rely on tongue placement and a die roll. Use that on mod parts already.
