Weapon stats decreasing with each repect

I was modifying my LMG bonuses, trying to find what best suited me, and I noticed that each time I did, the stats would lower instead of increase. For example: I put all 10 Bonus Ranks into Critical Mult. Once I put them back to how I had them originally, I noticed the stats for that were lower than they last were. Thinking this was just a visual bug, I closed out of the menu, went back to the weapon, but it was still lower than it was. So, I repeated the process I did before. I reset Bonus Ranks, and put them back how I had them, and then the stats were lowered again instead of increased! Please help.

the entire stat screen is FUBAR. Don't rely on it. Sometime it seems that leaving inventory and going back shows the right numbers, but then some bonuses don't even work or the stat screen is not showing them at all. Sometimes you get base stat, sometimes you get random numbers... spending point, rerolling, respecing, enhancing.. all of this just randomize the stat numbers without any coherent behavior. Even doing exactly sam thing will have different results. Don't try to understand the numbers or figure "what goes well", you will only get mad.

Basically this, though there are stats for which lower numbers are better. Displayed numbers aside, the actually effect of the enhancement on your weapon should always be positive.

Just to note, I did about an hour of testing regarding this issue. And, at least for me, relogging "reset" the stats as far as I can tell each time. Granted, most of the stats are wrong on the screen, and the Base+Points math is Arcane or at least missing the "Actual Base Numbers" (Otherwise, how does one have 19.3 damage, add 12.4% to that, and get 49?). The fun is shooting skitterlings in the same spot as test subjects....lol
