If I have to re-assess my strategy, how do I deal with:
A PR of 1145 against two 1600 bulwarks at the same time, with E-Rep Retribution and That's That
    Level 43 Assault

Another thing that needs to be looked at is AOE and knock back. I swear there are a couple of grenades that no matter how far you throw them you still blast yourself lol
The knock back of raider tankers is annoying at the very least. Especially when all 3 rounds hit near you. That's at least 3 seconds of you not be able to do anything while still taking damage.
Speaking of raiders.....their molotovs have an AOE of 1000 yards it seems lol I'm exaggerating of course but you get the idea.

You PR should be around the Bulwarks' then using That's That should be enough. Due to its explosive nature, the weapon crits them and bring them to their "knees". Try to deal with one Bulwark at a time.

Im fine with knock backs, splashes. The turn into heavy damage is annoying though. I dont know why, while running to cover from snipers when they hit me I turn and look in their direction. just an example. Another annoyance is the turning into monarchs constantly when near their mouths.

    Its a terrible unrealistic mechanic.

Also if you are more then 400 power away from an enemy, come back later. Its unfortunate once hitting san fran you are basically forced to farm main area until you hit around 1400ish. but it is what it is. The fact activities in san fran are dead makes it easier though.

isn't that because auto aim/assist or something like that in options?

I hope so. That would make things so much easier. such a dumb mechanic. I will check later. Didnt even occur to me it was autoaim. I dont know how they relate.

    thanks

farming to hit 1400ish aint gonna work cause the enemies will jump up levels to... im 1500ish and they jumped to the 2k mark with 5 skulls its complete BS that you cant get on even footing with them...

Yeah, I have to say that the shield/armor capacity of these "mini-boss" enemies (Blacklungs, Bulwarks, Forge, etc..) is a little much; it's like I'm shooting a regenerating sponge. If I recall correctly, these enemies never had shields/armor in the OG Defi, just a large health pool. They didn't have regenerating health, but they were still a challenge.

Speaking of shields... everything has a shield now, except hellbugs and mutants -- maybe we should give them armor too and give the newbies hell. IMO the shield/armor thing is a little overdone. I mean do small mobs, like mongrels and the nanothingies, really NEED armor? Also, these supposed grenades that do extra damage to armor/shields, not seeing the difference from a normal one.

There is one side mission in south west of San Francisco where are 2-3 bulwarks to kill (after normal enemies) and no ammo to restore in area. I run out of my ammo on all guns lol. Get idea. But I did make it with That's with lot of time eventually.
Bulwarks aren't good targets for solo player, if you dont have around 30 min for each. I think I could kill them without That's that at lower levels, now I cant imagine to kill bulwark solo without it (and on much higher power level). Yeah ... as you gain power they seem to be more harder to kill. Enjoy it or get That's That rocket launcher.

I think devs could post somewhere exactly pointed out WHAT ARE BENEFITS OF GETTING HIGHER POWER to help a bit with motivation to play and progress it AFTER finishing main storyline.

so I say it again If you have problems it's on YOU, not on bulwarks. They are soloable and they don't take 30mins

Just keep hitting crit zone with any weapon really and stay hidden or at range from ALL their attacks. It's that easy. It's easier with hard hit/burst weapons, like snipers, pistols, fast rate SMGs/ARs. They may be annoyingly spoongy, all minibosses are. But they are far for hard, no where near impossible or unkillable or unsoloable or anything.

Take that as a word that there IS something YOU can do about it instead of blaming the game, Trion or whoever else.
